FFL Transfer Services
Badge & Barrel LLC accepts firearm transfers from licensed dealers and other eligible sellers in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Before having a firearm shipped to us, please contact us so we can confirm the transfer and provide any information the sending party may need.
All firearm transfers require the appropriate identification, background check, and required paperwork before the firearm can be released.
Transfer Process
Contact Badge & Barrel LLC before the firearm is shipped.
Have the seller or transferring dealer send the required FFL information.
We’ll notify you when the firearm has arrived and is ready for processing.
Bring a valid government-issued photo ID and any other documentation required for the transfer.
Complete the required paperwork and background check before the firearm can be released.
Transfer Fees
Standard FFL Transfer: $25.00
Each additional firearm on the same transfer: $10.00
Additional fees may apply for special-order transfers, private-party transfers, outgoing transfers to another FFL, shipping, storage, or other services depending on the transaction.

What You Need to Bring
Please bring a valid government-issued photo ID with your current residential address.
Additional identification or documentation may be required depending on the type of transfer and applicable federal, state, or local requirements.
All required forms and background checks must be completed before a firearm can be released.

Before You Ship a Firearm to Us
Please contact Badge & Barrel LLC before having any firearm shipped to us.
We will confirm that we can accept the transfer and provide the sending dealer or seller with any required FFL information.
Do not have a firearm shipped until the transfer has been confirmed.
When the firearm arrives, we will contact you to arrange completion of the required paperwork and background check.
Transfer Restrictions
Badge & Barrel LLC reserves the right to refuse any transfer that cannot be completed lawfully or that does not meet applicable federal, state, or local requirements.
Some firearms, configurations, or transactions may be restricted based on the buyer’s location, age, eligibility, or other legal requirements.
If a transfer cannot be completed, additional return-shipping, storage, or administrative fees may apply.
Please contact us before arranging any unusual or specialized transfer.
Denied or Uncompleted Transfers
If a firearm transfer cannot be completed because the transferee receives a Denied response from NICS or otherwise fails to meet the legal requirements for transfer, the firearm will not be released to the transferee.
A $50.00 denied-transfer processing fee, plus applicable shipping and handling costs, will be charged for returning or otherwise lawfully disposing of the firearm as permitted by law and the policies of the original seller.
The transferee is responsible for all applicable return-shipping, handling, storage, or other costs associated with an unsuccessful transfer.
NICS Delays & Denials
A NICS Delay is not the same as a denial. If a transaction is delayed, Badge & Barrel LLC will follow all applicable federal requirements and will not release the firearm until the transfer may lawfully proceed.
If the transferee receives a Denied response or otherwise becomes ineligible to complete the transfer, the firearm will not be released.
A $50.00 denied-transfer processing fee, plus applicable shipping and handling, will apply if the firearm must be returned to the seller or otherwise transferred to a lawful destination.
Any additional storage, return-shipping, or administrative costs associated with an unsuccessful transfer are the responsibility of the transferee.
